Since more than a year - after a six year stay in Switzerland, we are back in the Philippines. After our return, it touched us deeply to see how many families live in filth and misery, and that this situation is getting worse from day to day.
In the Philippines, the gap between rich and poor is extreme and a middle class as we know from other parts of the world, it's not known over here. Many people live below the poverty line, and daily children die from malnutrition, but they also die because of dengue fever, because they live in dirt. For medical assistance and to send them to school is only little or no money, so that many families are happy, if they can eat a little of rice and fish a day.

WORK AS AN AID TO SELF-HELP
With our public transport company Cebu People Express Corporation, we currently give a living to more than 80 families. Thanks to us, they are able to survive, get medical assistance and send their children to school.
All the MiniCabs were built from us, which here in Cebu are called MultiCab. Today we produce, rework, maintain and repair our vehicles to offer, to the commuters, a safe and clean trip in one of our 60 vehicles.
PHILOSOPHY AND PURPOSE
Cebu People Express Corporation, actually give a livelihood to 80 families. This corresponds to more than 600 people, which thanks to us are able to survive, get medical assistance and send their children to school. As of today, we operate daily with 60 vehicles and we would like to extend our MultiCab fleet, so that we can give a living to more families, giving their fathers work as drivers, mechanics, auto electricians, welders and painters.
Globally, this is a small contribution. However, here in the region, our action has already given a very positive impact and example to other people.
